A Note Before the Legal Language
At Always Human Hospice Consulting, our work lives in tender, sacred spaces — alongside families, caregivers, and the professionals who serve them. We hold that same care for your privacy. This policy explains, in plain terms, what information we collect when you interact with us, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We've tried to be clear rather than clever, because trust matters here.
1. Who We Are
Always Human Hospice Consulting LLC ("Always Human," "AHHC," "we," "us," or "our") is a sales training, consulting, and education company serving the hospice, palliative care, and serious-illness community. We provide B2B services to healthcare organizations and professionals, and B2C educational resources to caregivers and families.
This Privacy Policy applies to:
-
Our website at always-human.com and any subdomains;
-
Our online store and digital product purchases;
-
Coaching, consulting, and appointment scheduling;
-
Email newsletters, lead magnets, and other communications;
-
Any other online or offline interaction where we collect personal information and link to this policy.
Note on our other brands. If you also operate The Hospice Conversations (thehospiceconversations.com) or the Caregiver Coach store, those B2C properties may warrant a tailored version of this policy because of their consumer-facing audience. Consider adapting this document for each brand or adding a brand-specific addendum.
2. An Important Note About Health Information (HIPAA)
Always Human Hospice Consulting is a consulting and education company. In the ordinary course of our website operations, we are not acting as a HIPAA-covered entity or a business associate, and this website is not designed to receive protected health information (PHI).
Please do not submit protected health information — such as patient names, diagnoses, medical records, or other identifiable clinical details — through our website forms, email, chat, or scheduling tools. If a consulting engagement requires us to handle PHI, that arrangement will be governed by a separate written agreement (such as a Business Associate Agreement) and not by this Privacy Policy.
3. Information We Collect

When you visit our website, we and our service providers may automatically collect:
-

-
Cookies and similar technologies — small data files that help the site function, remember your preferences, and measure performance (see Section 7).
Information From Third Parties
We may receive limited information from third parties, such as analytics providers, advertising platforms, payment processors, and social media networks when you interact with our content or ads on those platforms.
4. How We Use Your Information

5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only in the following circumstances:
-
Service providers. We work with trusted vendors who perform services on our behalf and are permitted to use your information only to provide those services. These may include, for example, our website host and store platform (e.g., Wix), payment processor (e.g., Stripe / Wix Payments), email and marketing platform (e.g., [your email platform]), scheduling tools (e.g., Microsoft Bookings), productivity and storage tools (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google), and analytics and advertising providers (e.g., [Google Analytics, Meta, LinkedIn]).
-
Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Always Human, our clients, or others.
-
Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
-
With your direction or consent. We will share information at your request or with your permission.
Note on "sharing" for targeted advertising. Some privacy laws treat the use of cookies for cross-context behavioral advertising as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal data. If you use advertising or retargeting pixels, confirm which apply and update this paragraph and Section 8 accordingly.
6. Payment Processing
Purchases are processed by third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe and/or Wix Payments). Your full payment card details are submitted directly to the processor and are governed by that processor's privacy policy and security standards. We do not store full payment card numbers on our systems.
7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember your preferences, measure traffic, and — where applicable — support marketing. Categories include:
-
Essential cookies — required for the site and store to function;
-
Analytics cookies — help us understand how visitors use the site;
-
Marketing/advertising cookies — used to deliver and measure relevant content and ads.
You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where available, through our cookie banner or preferences tool. Disabling some cookies may affect site functionality.
8. Your Marketing Choices
You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any message or by contacting us at privacy@always-human.com. Even if you opt out of marketing, we may still send you transactional or service-related messages (for example, a purchase receipt or appointment confirmation).
9. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy — including to provide services, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations — after which we delete or de-identify it.
10. How We Protect Your Information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You share information with us at your own risk and should take care not to send sensitive details (see Section 2) through the website.
11. Children's Privacy
Our website and services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
12. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information. We honor applicable rights for all users to the extent the law requires.
Texas Residents (Texas Data Privacy and Security Act)
If you are a Texas resident, you may have the right to:
-
Confirm whether we process your personal data and access it;
-
Correct inaccuracies;
-
Request deletion of your personal data;
-
Obtain a portable copy of your data;
-
Opt out of the processing of your data for targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, or certain profiling.
We do not process sensitive data without your consent where consent is required. To appeal a decision regarding a request, you may contact us using the details in Section 16.
California Residents (CCPA/CPRA) If you are a California resident, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, request access or deletion, correct inaccurate information, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Residents of Other States
If you live in another state with a comprehensive privacy law (such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Oregon, or others), you may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and opt out. We honor verifiable requests as required by your state's law.
How to Exercise Your Rights
To make a request, email us at [privacy@always-human.com] with the nature of your request. We may need to verify your identity before responding. You may also designate an authorized agent to act on your behalf where the law permits.
13. "Do Not Track" and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers offer "Do Not Track" signals or a Global Privacy Control (GPC). Where required by applicable law, we treat a recognized opt-out preference signal as a valid request to opt out of targeted advertising or the sale/sharing of personal data.
14. Third-Party Links
Our website and content may link to third-party sites, tools, and social media platforms that we do not control. This policy does not apply to those services. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
15. International Visitors
